In the picturesque small towns of Almonte, ON and Merrickville, ON, lives a perfect little clothing shop named doree's habit. Owned and operator by the super-chic Brodie O'Connor, doree's habit is a mecca for the girl who loves clothes. Each piece in the store is carefully curated and selected by Brodie (a girl who herself loves clothes), and oozes coolness. You can't go wrong with clothes from doree's - if you buy it there, you KNOW you're looking fashionable.

Brodie is in the process on launching her on-line shop, which means soon you will be able to shop at doree's from anywhere. We shot this branding shoot for doree's habit back in the spring. Check it out!

The very talented women behind Blondie Apparel contacted me a couple of weeks ago to discuss shooting their fall line of scarves (adorably entitled Dots & Birds). As a huge fan of their clothing, I was thrilled at the chance to work with the "Blondies." Last winter I sported a beautiful and very toasty reversible and convertible scarf/cowel from Blondie ALL SEASON (because it was so very cold and scarf was so very warm and cute). This summer I snatched up one of their gorgeous summer scarves named after my homeland (Maritimes). And after this shoot, I am going to HAVE to have that black scarf with the flamingos.
